What is NSF Certification?

NSF International was founded in 1944 by the National Sanitation Foundation (NSF) established by the Department of Public Health of the University of Michigan and regulates health and food safety requirements. The process put in place to establish NSF International’s first health standard for soft drink water and lunch tools has become the NSF’s international process for the development of other public health and safety standards. To date, NSF has established more than 80 public health and safety standards.
